How We Picked The Best Restaurants In Entebbe

Before we reveal the top 10 restaurants in Entebbe, we’d like to share a bit about our criteria. Now, being from Entebbe you might say we’re a little biased.

We can’t completely argue with that!

To offset our bias, we filtered in some of the local Entebbe restaurants with great reviews on TripAdvisor, Petit Fute, and Yellow.

Overall, we were looking for a great Entebbe restaurant that would let us eat outside, enjoy some local Ugandan delicacies, and crack open a Nile beer. Though some other styles of restaurants snuck on the list, it’s only because they were that good!

So after you’ve enjoyed your Entebbe day trips, be sure to stick around for one more evening and treat yourself to a meal at one of these restaurants.

Ranking The 10 Best Restaurants in Entebbe

#1 – Faze 3

While being one of the highest reviewed Entebbe restaurants on TripAdvisor would be an accomplishment enough, Faze 3 delivers with great food and a beautiful ambiance.

From goat meat stews to grilled tilapia, the extensive menu has Ugandan plates up and down. The best thing to pair with that menu? Its charming view of Lake Victoria.

Though a bit more removed from the beach than some of the other restaurants on the list, Faze 3 in Entebbe is a top-notch place to eat.

#2 – Cafe Javas

Located in the Victoria Mall in Entebbe, Cafe Javas certainly has one of the best menus on offer in Entebbe. 

With meals that travelers consistently rank as some of the best in Entebbe, travelers can enjoy their share of juices, vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes, pasta, meats, and some amazing sweets.

The only thing keeping Cafe Javas from being higher up on the list? We just wish their terrace was a bit bigger so we could spend even more time there.

#3 – 2friends Beach Restaurant and Bar

Can you think of anything better than enjoying fresh-grilled tilapia and a beer on the beach of Lake Victoria?

We didn’t think so! That’s why 2friends Beach Restaurant and Bar is so high up on our list of best restaurants in Entebbe. As good as any of the dishes are the comfortable spots to dine, including the comfortable lounge areas and the fun elevated patio.

#4 – 4 Points Ltd. Bar & Restaurant

For an Entebbe bar and restaurant that add a layer of style to the dining experience, stop by 4 Points Ltd. the sleek black tables add a classy cohesion that pairs well with their range of cuisines – including Indian and Asian.

One other treat that skyrocketed 4 Points up our list of bars and restaurants in Entebbe? Their on-site bakery. With breads, cakes, and sweets galore, this might make for your favorite spot in town.

One of our favorite restaurants for a relaxing meal is Goretti’s Beachside Pizzeria and Grill. Though their specialty is (of course) a fresh-baked pizza, you may want to order yourself a grilled tilapia, too.
